Defending the Word of God with the Word of God

Take a good look at that picture. That was me before the Lord Jesus Christ filled me with his glorious presence and purpose.

Life was all about me at that time and my pursuit to be a professional baseball player.

The following picture was me after I answered He was was standing and knocking on the door of my heart. I heard His voice in 1996 and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior after I simply could not stop crying in this old Country church on a hill outside of a small town in rural Minnesota.

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the live which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Galatians 2:20

One day before my birthday I did something that I never even imagined I would do in my wildest dreams. It was symbolic to say the least.

My baseball bat contract as a professional baseball player through Louisville Slugger created some clutter in my closet. The clutter in my closet were three empty baseball bat cases.

I got up one morning and made a cross out of these cases and walked 12 miles down a Highway with this cross. It was my way of letting the world know that the old self was crucified with Christ. I was a new creation in Christ.

I did not do this to gain Christ. I did this because I was now a member of the body of Christ. I did not carry this cross as a good work. I carried this cross because the work and payment was already finished.

Everyone that drove by me was forced to face an important decision about Christ.

I am nothing without Christ. I have nothing without Him. I am lost without Him.

This is a graphic I made because America is in trouble with God. We have became weak through closet Christianity. We have failed so speak the Word of God. We are allowing the name of Jesus to be drug through the dirt. America has become the spawning ground of Satan and is casually allowing false religion, injustice, godlessness, disrespect toward authority, and greed to gestate within our borders.

We are truly a nation divided against itself and we will ultimately crumble as a nation because of this fact as promised in the Word of God.

Matthew 12:25-26 reads "And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?"

We have failed to reveal the Word of God and allow the Word of God free reign in workplaces, schools, streets, businesses, and even our churches!

Joel Osteen, who Pastors the largest church in evangical Christianity refuses to talk about sin and hell. Some factions of the" organized church" have adopted the philosophy of prosperity, health and wellness, claim-your-miracle-today, God-wants-you-to-be-rich idealogy, and other ungodly teachings.

Membership in a denomination has become more important than a true indentity in Christ.

America is in trouble because of our cowardism. We serve the God who split the Red Sea in two. We serve the God who spoke this earth into existence and who upholds all things by the Word of His Power. We serve the living and true God who will not fail and will not abandon us.

And yet we are so afraid to talk about Jesus to our next-door neighbor.

Lord, please forgive us and give us courage to boldly speak your Word with power and authority.

The above photo shows (at that time) 21 week old baby Samuel Armas undergoing Spina Bifida surgery. Samuel reaches out from the womb and holds on to the Doctor's hand.

I attended this at the State Capital (on left). It was very powerful. But we have so much more to do to defend the life of the unborn.

The protection of the life of the unborn is a mission that cannot be underestimated in any capacity. We must defend the life of the unborn.

God will not hold us guiltless of we passively allow this murder of the

innocent to continue.

I found this old plaque made out of wood at a sale and wanted to create a Bodyguard Scripture graphic. The light from my scanner seemed to create a glare that did not allow the image to transfer well. I took a flashlight and shined it in and this is how the light appeared. I found it fascinating.
